Payatas Community project

This is surely for everyone. :: The world is in dire need of God's LOVE through servanthood. Consider join us and help the Payatas community.

One of our dispatches, which is located in Payatas, a congested community in the Metro Manila area. We have a building improvement need.

We need finances to repair some parts of the building which is risking the lives of children during feeding program and other community activities. The building structure is so weak that needs immediate attention and repair.

This is a community center where any individual or teams may come and participate in our regular activities.

BANGLADESH R&D-DTS began Aug 27th with 11 students

The R&D-DTS in Rajshahi, Bangladesh began August 27th 2006 without foreign students due to some reasons beyond our control. Please pray with us for this dispatch led by Barun Halder. Barun had undergone some UofN training courses and preparation himself including SOFM, FCD, IBC and other 2nd level courses. He is our main dispatch for South Asia. He is also part of the National Leadership Team of YWAM-Bangladesh. (See photo on Dispatches page)

A message from Barun:  Greetings to all of you from Bangladesh. Thank you for all your prayers. We are doing well with our ministry and family. Month of August we received 191 letters from our radio program listeners. 29 of the new people wrote to us to know more about Jesus. We gave gospel books to everyone. We also gave out gospel cassettes. They have testimonies in our file. If you want to read them, let us know. Pray that they will understand God's love and forgiveness.

27the August - we started our 2nd Discipleship Training School (R&D-DTS) with 11 students: 4 from Muslim background, 2 Hindu, 1 Buddhist, 2 Christian and 2 grew up in orphanage. 

Please pray for them to be good disciple of Jesus. Please pray also for all our staffs.

PAYATAS building fund needs you and partner with us in the community projects.

Above in photo shows how this building is so poorly constructed.

If you are a carpenter or with any construction skills, pls do come and help us. But we also need funds for this small yet very important project in Payatas, Philippines.


Asif & Nina in Pakistan

Asif Jamshaid & wife in Kashmir, Pakistan. They are processing on a CbR program for some kids with disabilities in Kashmir. They work with MSD (Morning Star Development) among earthquake victims and refugees. Some kids lost their limbs as an aftermath of the disastrous quake.

Feeding program is one of the ways you can get involved.

Where the kids are. This dispatch in Payatas, Philippines is needing immediate help before any accident happens risking these children's life as they continue to receive feeding program.
